Julius Caesar - Brutus vs Antony In Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare, two characters speak at Caesar's funeral. Caesar was just murdered by his best friend Brutus and the Conspirators. Brutus and Antony both speak at the funeral, but each had their own purpose and reason for doing so. Both speeches had their own unique way of addressing the crowd as well as differing styles. There has been a lot of criticism against violence in television especially in chldrens cartoons recently. Many psychologists believe that violent movies cause kids to become violent. There have been a number of attempts to show a direct relation between violence and criminal activity. Many of these are biased as the criminals who are interviewed after being sentenced are usually more than happy to place the blame of their activities on some other circumstances. I personally believe that the popularity of these movies is due the natural interest of human beings to have some form of violence in their lives. They also showed that children who watch a lot of television are more likely to think the world is a mean and dangerous place. In one study done at Pennsylvania State University, about 100 pre-school children were observed both before and after watching television. Some watched cartoons that had many aggressive and violent acts. Others watched shows that didn’t have any kind of violence.
